Agreed - allotments in particular should be made sacrosanct. They tick all the boxes in terms of Green Belt, leisure provision, green objectives, health objectives, sustainability.

It is imperative that allotments are protected - or indeed that more are provided. There is a growing desire for people to have the opportunity of growing their own food.

The so called options are so nebulous, it is impossible to support or not.

Development around Coventry should be considered in more detail and not simplistically pumped in one location by Warwick C.C. without full integrated planning for Coventry.
In fact, who is recommending King's Hill? Is it Warwick, or is it Coventry or is it a plot to avoid blame by each?

12b The plans don't show as a percentage of space 40% of the residents wishes to protect open spaces including play areas, sports pitches, allotments. This must be seen along with housing space, employment space as green space and shown in the plan. It's vital for the local community to be given an opportunity to get into the fresh air, enjoy the healthy benefits from growing and eating own food. Leamington has over 200 people on allotment waiting lists imagine what 10,800 homes would add to these lists.

Sports ground at Lockheed, the Windmill Leamington, rugby ground and football fields (now under Sainsburys, Tiller Pin etc, etc) was the lie to any liklihood of adequate open space being provided to meet the expanded population.
