Again this makes it sound like an afterthought. It should be part of the Core proposal

The area has suffered flooding on numerous occasions over past 14 years and
Urban drainage systems have been found wanting. This should be addressed within all building proposals.

Before any new development takes place the district's existing drainage system needs to be thoroughly sorted out, flood plains should be protected and extended never built on unless it was allowed for allotments use.

We are always concerned at developments alongside the River Avon but see no specific items in the options that indicate this possibility.
Increased flood risk that may result from development in the catchment area is a concern to ourselves and those on the lower and currently navigable reaches of the river.
Support the requirement of the EA that this risk should be comprehensively mitigated by a sensitive and sustainable approach to drainage schemes.
Recommend the future employment, leisure and environmental opportunities that would be provided by the extension of the Avon Navigation as being complementary to the expansion of population envisaged.
