No. Though the canals within Warwick have their primary function for leisure purposes, there are areas within Warwick District, which may be amenable to the transport of waste by water from domestic points to recycling plants and from quarries within Rugby to development sites within Leamington centre.

Object in that the target of 67% should be achieved sooner, and that the proposal continues to view incineration by building a super-incinerator in the middle of the region as the only option for the residue, rather than exploring more environmentally friendly options with lower health and global warming implications.

I do not think that the Finham plant will cope withthe increased demand and that a new plant will be needed or the existing greatly expanded.

More waste, more recycled rubbish to be used in Coventry tips. Is this necessary?

Unfortunately we have been waiting for more litter bins on warwick gates for over a year. It seems trying to establish a route for emptying the bins is proving difficult. Meanwhile due to the lack of bins, people are being very good and dropping their dog litter in the bins they can which happen to be near the childrens play area. Vandals then chuck these poo bags all over the play equipment. Horrible isn't it, yet we keep asking for more bins along the dog walking route and keep being ignored - just as a new development will.
