Close to residential development and contrary to peaceful and integrated co-existence.
Remote location contrary to criteria of need for convenient access to GP surgery (none in Barford), school and public transport, provision of utilities, services, waste disposal, etc..
Also at variance with avoiding locations having adverse impact on natural environment or without harm to character of area - location in rural area that will be badly affected.

Is situated on landfill site, so an inappropriate location
Adjoins The Asps which WDC previously concluded should remain undeveloped, particularly given the impact Warwick Castle and its park.
Area supports range of wildlife whose habitat would disturbed or removed as a result.
Disregards Rural Area Policies: RAPs 1 (New Housing), 6 (New Employment), 10 (Safeguarding Rural Roads) and 15 (Camping and caravan Sites).
Vehicle access would be dangerous to and from the site.
No access to facilities (e.g. doctors, schools etc.) thereby increasing car journeys.
Have an adverse impact on the visual aspect of picturesque countryside and farmland.
Negative impact on Barford St. Peter's School which is expanding to accommodate current school children.
Site is unavailable and not deliverable.
More suitable and sustainable to identify Brownfield sites within the urban areas of Kenilworth, Warwick and Leamington.
Should meet Gypsy and Traveller requirements through proposed major new housing developments in Kenilworth, Warwick and Leamington as more suitable, sustainable and integrated.
Should review Green Belt and allow sites north of Warwick, Leamington and Kenilworth.

Strong objection as site is adjacent to the B4100 highway and M40 motorway.
The B4100 is extremely dangerous with the volume of traffic expanding each year. There is also increased use of the two motorway junctions and more recently Oakley Wood is being promoted as an amenity area for lifestyle living.

Area is predominantly livestock breeding .
Gypsy and Traveller dogs mainly lurcher/greyhound type which worry sheep and cattle and free range poultry and are liable to have diseases.
Adjacent to extremely busy motorway junctions (13 and 14). The roads leading on to the B4100 raise road safety issues and slow moving vehicles entering or exiting a main road a particularly dangerous hazard.
There is no main gas or drainage in the area.
May lead to increase in the theft of gates, metalware and other farm fixtures and fittings.
Area is rural and agricultural so site will be a major invasion to the openess and irreversible urbanisation of the entire area.
Support the owner of majority of site who objects on the basis of Farming Enterprise and Agriculture, Highways and Safety Issues, Services and Utilities, Rural Landscape and Ecology and Wildlife Habitat.

Disregards Rural Area Policies: RAPs 1 (New Housing), 6 (New Employment), 10 (Safeguarding Rural Roads) and 15 (Camping and caravan Sites).

Impact on local schools will be an issue. Barford St Peters is an already over subscribed SMALL village school. It has already been indicated in the local plan that more housing in the area will be built. The school will not cope with increase in numbers of pupils.
Wild deer inhabit this area. This should be considered
It is very close to proposed building within local plan, road networks will struggle
Loss of farmland impacting on local rural businesses and employment
These areas are not close to local communities and do not allow ' peaceful and integrated co-existence with the local community'
Access by vehicles will be difficult and dangerous - a potential safety issue.
Site does not have access to local amenities such as doctors surgeries, schools etc. People would need to use a vehicle which adds more pressure to roads and impact on environment.

Access is from a very busy road whic is unsuitable. there is no pedestrian access to and from this site. It will also add to the sense of isolation and prevent the Gypsy and Traveller Community from integrating into the local neighbourhood.
A Gypsy and Traveller site on the approach to Historic Warwick is not in keeping with the local surroundings and will have a negative visual impact on the on this area. It will create a negative perception and could damage the local economy.
This site contains listed buildings and will have a detrimental effect on the area in trms of visual impact.
The school in Bishop's Tachbrook is operating to capacity. gypsy and traveller pupils are more likely to have special educational needs. The school may not be able to provide the support required.

Site would put undue pressure on a busy GP surgery.
The primary school is already at capacity.
The Gypsy and Traveller community are more likely to need specialist educational needs which the school cannot cater for.
Public transport is limited within the parish with no pavements adjoining the sites - pedestrian access would be dangerous.
Surrounding busy road network dangerous for safe access.
Limited access to utilities.
There is a strong potential visual impact on the approach to historic Warwick. Tourism in Warwick is very important to the local economy and any impact would severely damage the town.
There is very strong local opposition to the site - it would not promote a peaceful and integrated co-existence.
The A452 and M40 are already busy and dangerous roads. There are few local services nearby so those that do exist are likely to be put under undue pressure.

It is wrong that this site is allocated for people who choose to live by a set of parameters of their own making (often outside the law) and who pose a threat to the peace and quiet of Bishops Tachbrook. There must be a piece of ground somewhere in Warwickshire that would better suit Gypsies and Travellers.

On historic landfills so unsuitable for any form of permanent habitation and occupation.
Sits immediately approximate to the Asps which WDC decided should remain open due to its value as a backdrop to the historic Warwick Castle Park, The Revised Development Strategy, excludes the Asps.
Wild deer sightings on this land that roam freely across the Castle grounds to the site and beyond.
Vehicle access is from a heavily utilised road network. Access and egress to the highways network would not be safe.
Cannot access local community facilities (schools, doctors etc) on foot or bike via a pedestrian footpaths or cycle routes, or by bus which is unsustainable and places further pressure on local highway infrastructure.
Lead to an unacceptable loss of farmland and rural employment, rendering site unviable.
Material negative impact on the capacity of Barford St. Peter's School.
Fails to meet Rural Area Policies, especially RAPS1 (New Housing), 6 (New Employment), 10 (Safeguarding Rural Roads) and 15 (Camping and Caravan sites).
Material adverse effect on the landscape and will harm the visual amenity of the site.

Understand gypsy community not in favour of internal toilet facilities which will upset locals.
Concerned about how site will be monitored in terms of number of people living there, security, crime levels, paying of taxes etc.
Who will pay for monitoring, policing, cleaning up, reduction in property prices, increases in insurance costs?
