Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

We agree that Baginton is an appropriately sustainable settlement to accommodate some of the district's housing needs. Baginton has been justifiably identified as a Key Growth Village as it has services and facilities suitable to accommodate 70-90 dwellings. The preferred site is proposed for only 35 dwellings.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

-Only issue to raise regards the promotion of a site for sand and gravel extraction near Baginton (Site 20 - South of Baginton of the Minerals Core Strategy Revised Spatial Options Feb 2009 consultation document).
-The preferred option would be directly adjacent to the Site 20 boundary.
-Upon completion of the 'request for sand and gravel sites', we will have a clear indication of which sites are likely to be taken forward as preferred sand and gravel allocations. However currently there appears to be a potential interest in working the sites.

Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Baginton is an elongated village close to Coventry. It makes a contribution to openness as it is. Its closeness to Coventry makes Baginton very sensitive to new development. It should be retained as it is now with washed-over status.
