We really do need to have better cycling paths in so we can cycle in to Leamington/Warwick rather than drive. We also put our lives in our hands when we cycle down to the canal on Offchurch land out of the village.

As cycling is a hazardous occupation on our narrow, busy, fast roads, we support any improvements that make the routes safer. Separating cycle paths from road traffic will improve safety and encourage people to use their bikes rather than cars for local journeys, thus also be beneficial to the environment and health.

I support the cycling links proposed. The reasons for the cycling link to the canal are similar to the reasons for a safe, effective link to the canal for pedestrians. The full link to Leamington Spa is essential if people are to be encouraged to use bicycles more as the A425 is a busy road which is not cyclist friendly.

I support the development of additional safe cycling routes to and from areas of the village and surrounding beauty spots, I do not necessarily agree with the additional provision of cycle lanes on our main roads given the extremely dangerous nature of other road users and the heavy traffic flow in this village. I have witnessed many near misses between vehicles and cyclists in the village, not all of which were caused by motorists.

Improved, safer cycle routes are essential to allow people to cycle into town from Radford Semele. The main road is very busy, making this a difficult road to use, especially for children or nervous cyclists. It is tremendously important for the environment and our physical health that we improve people's opportunity to cycle safely.

Radford Semele is close to Leamington Spa but has no safe cycle links. There are also no safe links to countryside. This is due to the main throughroad being a busy A road. The village has a nearby National cycleway along the canal but no links to it. Cycling is sustainable and these links are needed to avoid residents using cars rather than sustainable transport. I fully support this Policy

Cycling in and out of Radford Semele is extremely dangerous, especially when cars crowd cyclists on the canal bridge on the Leamington Road. I am not a timid cyclist, but I find this point extremely dangerous, as well as the narrow hill towards Offchurch. Cars just do not slow down.
