We are extremely supportive of RS8/3 and RS8/4. The lack of a solution that links Offchurch Lane and opens the viaduct (which is incomrehensibly and unjustifiably blocked) to provide continuity to the Offchurch Greenway puts families at risk of accident. Offchurch Lane as it constricts is simply not safe for walkers or cyclists. This is a vital asset for families. Without improvements, families in the village have to take risks to enjoy a vital part of leisure infrastructure.

We are supportive of all aspects, but the improvement to RS8/1 is vital. The pathway is unsafe, but regularly used to access the canal by families.

Providing a safe route to the greenaway from the village is key. Access via the road, ie walking into 50/60mph traffic is dangerous and unnecessary when there is a simpler solution
