I wish to object to the use of SG04 for housing development due to several concerns. Firstly, it would harm the Greenbelt and facilitate urban sprawl between Kenilworth and surrounding areas. Secondly, the site has low housing capacity and would result in the loss of productive farmland. Thirdly, it would negatively impact the cultural heritage of Kenilworth Castle and the Arden landscape. Additionally, the site lacks essential services for a 20-minute neighbourhood and would strain existing infrastructure. It is also a vital recreational area that supports wellbeing and would harm local biodiversity.
