Brown field sites offer numerous opportunities to improve existing run down space, provided mixed use developments of live and work buildings, utilising existing infrastructure for travel, and creates social and economic inclusion.

Soans site and land adjacent to Sydenham Industrial Estate could accommodate 70-80 apartments and retain 0.75ha of employment land.

Common Lane Industrial Estate could accommodate 300-400 residential units reducing greenfield land take.
