I strongly object to the coalescence between Bidford and Ardens Grafton. Development in Bidford should avoid the fields adjacent to Grafton Land and George Elm Lane, due to the narrow, winding roads. The absence of a train station in Bidford and no active bus service between Bidford and the Graftons highlights a lack of sustainable travel options. The A46 has frequent congestion and lacks planned expansion to handle increased traffic from housing developments. Recent significant housing development in Bidford has exacerbated traffic, turning the narrow rural roads in Grafton village into a rat run. These fields are high-grade agricultural land.
