This is being considered on again, prime agriculture ground. It would comprimise and overwhelm the small hamlet of Knightcote. The site is too close to Gaydon, JLR, AM and Lighthorne, where there is already large scale development. Although close to J12 M40, this junction is already full to capacity at peak times, with traffic backing up the motorway. There are no supermarkets close by, no rail link, no regular public service, schools locally are already to full, local doctors surgeries cannot cope with local requirements. And the views from Burton Dassett country park (SLA) would be severely comprimised.
