This land falls within the protected Green Belt. Construction on this land would result in a blurring of the boundaries between Kenilworth and Leek wootton and erosion of the countryside surrounding Kenilworth.
This site is not sustainable without considerable new infrastructure: new roads, new drains, more medical and dental practices. Kenilworth Secondary school is already unable to meet demand. Existing infrastructure is struggling to meet existing demand with roads and sewers constantly being repaired.
Other sites within the area, not in the green belt have been identified and should be used before consideration is given to destroying green belt land.
