The proposed development is out of scale with the village of Henley. The public, private and road services are already at capacity. Henley can accommodate infill housing, such as the 90+ development on the former College site that is progressing, but this doubles the size of Henley 1
There are other sites identified, where a new major modern village can be created with all supporting services. This would be cheaper, less detrimental during the 10 year build phase and be an additional credit to Warwickshire. There is plenty of opportunity for reasonable scale developments across Warwickshire.
