I do not agree that biodiversity can be completely restored after this development has been completed, after construction the area's habitats will have been decimated. A landscape containing features such as ancient hedgerows, trees and sensitive populations of animals including bats and newts cannot be restored by simply putting up some birdboxes after covering it with a housing estate. In terms of sustainability, this project can again only have a negative effect in this area. This area would have little to no means of transport aside from individual cars. This will result in an increase in people commuting to work.
