This proposed site is badly situated. being a rural location, most residents of the new settlement would be using cars to commute as there is little to no public transport at present. The increased traffic would blight existing settlements and clog roads. The site would also further destroy the rural character of the area on top of the considerable damage already done to this part of the county by HS2. Any proposed development of the site would also be conspicuous from the Burton Dassett hills.
