This proposed site is a bad choice for development of a new settlement. Being in a rural location, badly connected by public transport, the vast majority of residents of the new settlement would be driving to work, adding to road traffic on local roads and through existing settlements. A development on this site would also further destroy the rural character of the area on top of the considerable damage already done to this part of the county by HS2. Any proposed development of the site would also be very visible from the Burton Dassett hills.
