I strongly oppose the inclusion of Bearley as a potential site for large-scale development. Bearley is a small rural village within the Green Belt, which must be protected from urban sprawl. Such proposals in or around Bearley are completely innapropriate. The area lacks essential infrastructure, and Stratford’s roads are already heavily congested. Additionally, Bearley has suffered severe flooding in recent years, which further development would worsen. Allowing this designation risks irreversible harm to the village’s character, environment, and community. I urge you to remove Bearley from consideration and focus on more suitable, sustainable locations.
