Development of this site will impact negatively on the rural character of the area. It's size is disproportionate to the size of the existing residential hamlet. Water supply issues, including sudden loss of water, burst pipes and other problems relating to the age of the water infrastructure make this site unsuitable for residential development becasue it will exacerbate the existing problems associated with sub standard water supply. The development will increase traffic in the area.
