I strongly object to the proposed housing scheme. It would effectively drop a high-density town into the local rural landscape - an area that was clearly never designed to accommodate such massive traffic and housing growth. The development would devastate natural ecosystems, destroying hedgerows and wildlife habitats synonymous with Wilmcote's natural beauty. Our infrastructure cannot support this influx. Roads are already congested during commuter hours, with Stratford-upon-Avon frequently impractical for easy visits. Development would increase pollution, create unsafe drainage, and strain (already stretched) services beyond capacity. This project represents a grossly unprecedented and inappropriate urbanisation of our cherished countryside.
