While I accept the need for some housing, I believe the scale of the proposal would have a detrimental impact on Henley in the following respects:
Flood risk - with climate change this would significantly impact the risk of serious flooding to roads and properties
Inadequate infrastructure and public services - eg medical centre, schools, shops, public transport, parking
Erosion of the character of Henley in Arden - loss of the unique charm and character
Traffic congestion and road safety - The A3400 is already badly congested
Harm to wildlife and biodiversity - loss of green space and natural environment
