The villages and hamlets in the area do not wish to be incorporated into a large town. Wilmcote is a World famous Village, not a world famous town. I grew up watching large flocks of Lapwing at Hardwick (the centre of the proposed site). These are birds in decline already.
Efforts should be put into re-purposing sites for school and housing etc. Such as the empty land off Timothy's Bridge Road, Stratford.
