Building 2,500 homes would effectively double the size of our established community. Even halving that number would result in such rapid growth that it would disrupt the delicate balance and rhythm of life here. Henley is already facing significant challenges such as traffic congestion, limited parking, inadequate public transport, overburdened services, and flooding. Moreover, preserving our farmland is essential for ensuring future food security and economic independence. We must prioritize sustainable development that maintains the well-being of the community and protects the land we rely on.
