The proposed Wedgnock Park Farm development is disproportionate to the existing communities and would urbanise significant green belt land, connecting Hatton and Hatton Park with Warwick. This would increase HGV traffic on Birmingham Road, and Warwick Parkway is too far to be a viable transport option for most workers. The development would negatively affect both local and distant landscape views, altering the character of the area. Additionally, the project would replace public bridle paths with industrial routes, harm local ecology, and result in loss of valuable agricultural land. A more suitable site, less impactful on the landscape, should be considered.
