If implemented, these proposals would inflict irreversible damage on Wellesbourne’s landscape, infrastructure, and community well-being. The lack of clear plans for expanding essential public services presents a significant challenge for the existing residents of Wellesbourne. The village’s schools and healthcare facilities are already struggling to meet current demand, and the addition of a large number of new homes would put even more pressure on these overstretched resources. More private vehicles would lead to greater traffic congestion and worsening air quality and more houses would result in more surface runoff which heightens flood risks in an area that already floods alot.
