The Parish Council of Leek Wootton & Guys Cliffe does not agree with this selected area for possible future development within its Parish Boundary in the SWLP – Preferred Options Plan for the following reasons: SG04 is in the Greenbelt; SG04 will remove the buffer between Leek Wootton and Kenilworth that protects the village environment from becoming part of the nearby town; Growth of village achieved in previous plan; ALC Grade 2 Agricultural Land should not be lost to development
