Growth in this area would align closely with the chosen Spatial Strategy of locating development based on the Sustainable Travel and Economy hybrid Spatial Growth Strategy.

We recognise that not all of SG16 may be considered necessary for inclusion within the Plan, and that the Councils may choose part of SG16. Our Site 506 is considered to be among the best related to the existing settlement, with excellent connections into the town centre. The built form would integrate well into the existing pattern of development around the settlement fringe, and fill a gap between the existing development and the river.
