Area is valuable agricultural land and its loss will irreparably harm rural character of area. Roads cannot support the extra traffic. A429 and Longbridge already overloaded at peak times. Road widening and building will not alleviate this. Development would damage landscape archaeology and be to the detriment of residential amenity. Area rich in medieval and earlier archaeology. The beauty and setting of Charlecote, a heritage site (important to local economy), would be harmed. This will set a precedent for unsightly and polluting urban sprawl between Leamington and Wellesbourne, with consequent loss of residential amenity and agricultural land, flora and fauna.
