The notion that all sites in excess of 500 home have to provide for travellers is ludicrous.
Developments will all be submitted for 499 homes to avoid the requirement.
Travellers settle in family groups and the view that they will be happy to fit into new development is wrong.
There should be dedicated sites identified after engagement with the travelling community.
