There is no prospect of the Stratford to Honeybourne railway line being re-opened in the near future and so it is unrealistic to suggest that this represents a tangible infrastructure consideration to put forward as part of the site E1 selection process. Similarly, the South Western relief road is no nearer being resolved, despite many years of failed attempts amidst critical funding issues and spiralling costs. If Stratford aDistrict Council regarded this road as a precursor to 3,500 houses, then it will be even more important should that number be increased and may well be insufficient in any event.
