This proposal will lead to the inevitable spread of Warwick into green belt countryside. The Council has not made out sufficient grounds as to why this meets the requirements of planning legislation. It creates a significant risk of Warwick spreading to villages which currently have well-defined boundaries. The existing infrastructure cannot cope with these demands. The main employment in Warwick lies on the south side of the town but access to this is significantly impacted by the roads within Warwick itself and the bridge over the River Avon. The Council's costly attempts to address this have been an expensive failure.
