Hatton Parish has already seen much development, and this proposed site represents 68% of the remaining land area.

A Housing Needs Survey taken in 2020 by the Warwickshire Rural Community Council showed a need for 3 dwellings, since when 150 have been/are being built in the Parish.

It is not enough to justify building on rural land by describing it as 'net zero', 'sustainable', 'healthy, safe and inclusive'. These are just words. Biodiversity and environmental reslilence would be lost. Local Wildlife Sites, the canal corridor, lanes and footpaths used for recreation and access to nature, would all be lost.
