Access to Hatton is poor - roads are minor and the junctions with the more major roads are notorious existing bottlenecks. The railway station is small and has seen a reduction in the number of trains which stop there - this has occurred to speed up the services from Warwick Parkway. There are no amenties in the area meaning that this proposal is misconceived and should fail to meet properly-applied planning criteria, particularly in view of the green belt location. The only beneficiaries of the propsal would be the national housebuilders and the Council's appetite to receive CIL payments.
