The land to the west of Rouncil Lane sits on a hill that is clearly visible from Kenilworth Castle and is part of the old castle grounds. Houses built here would destroy the countryside which still contains the characteristics of the old Forest of Arden - ancient trees and hedgerows - which cannot be replaced. These houses would overlook the Millenium Way, destroying its enjoyment, and would obliterate half of the countryside footpath out of Kenilworth from Rounds Hill, to be replaced by a half mile walk between the walls of houses. This cannot be allowed to happen.
