The site is greenbelt with a road network which is not suitable for the increased amount of traffic. Considerable adjustments to infrastructure would be needed and I don't believe road congestion could be avoided. Wilmcote has Mary Arden's farm, a globally significant grade 1 listed building which would be vulnerable to irreversible damage and pollution. Flooding in the area is already significant, the land does not soak up water so the proposed housing would affect Wilmcote, Newnham and Aston Cantlow. The railway would be unusable at times because of water logging.
