This is a key sustainability issue for Meon Vale and Long Marston Airfield. There is no adequate transport infrastructure for either site at present. Car dependency will continue until such time as there are adequate means of alternative travel to and from work and for other purposes. Bus services are infrequent and there are railway stations at Stratford and Honeybourne, both of which are around six miles distant and which require access by car. It is not surprising that there is no integrated transport system in such a rural location. That is part of its charm.
