If SG08 proceeds, a footbridge over the A46 linking it to Hampton Magna must be a planning condition. Hampton Magna has long suffered from poor connectivity to Warwick, particularly impacting schoolchildren. A fully accessible footbridge for pedestrians, cyclists and wheelchair users would significantly improve links to Warwick, encouraging active travel and reducing car dependency in line with sustainability goals.
