Recent history shows that transport issues have become worse, some of which is due to the actions of the Council. These include road congestion due to incorrect scalke of residential developments, traffic "improvements" (Stanks Island, Tachbrook Park), the termnination of the scheduled bus service to Hatton Park and the reduced train services to Hatton Station. These have all occurred on the Council's watch so, understandably, residents are sceptical about the Council's ability to deliver on this approach.
