SG06 makes a strong contributions to GreenBelt. If removed, Blackdown and Old Milverton would lose their identity and become a suburb of Leamington.
SG06 is good agricultural land with wide margins providing habitats for wildlife. Public rights of way valued by residents criss-cross SG06. Same for allotments.
Any access road would put pressure on busy local roads. Access onto narrow Sandy Lane would put North Leamington School pupils at risk. Traffic would increase through Leamington town centre as employment and supermarkets are to the south.
Additional school places, a medical practice and a community venue will need to be provided.
