Brownfield land should be prioritised for re-use as it already by default has infrastructure to support it. Central Government should be supporting this nationwide in the form of Government loans or grants to help to prevent the urbanisation of swathes of virgin countryside on the outskirts of towns where new infrastructure would be required.
