Strategic growth locations outside the green belt can already provide ample housing to meet expected demand.
SG06 is good quality farmland; cereal/animal feed crops are grown annually, supporting a wide range of wildlife- 36 different wild flowers recorded regularly on the public field path, and birds on the RSPB 'red list'. Such loss would be highly detrimental to residents' quality of life/mental health and to biodiversity.
Housebuilding would promote, not reduce, car use, most retail/employment sites being in south Leamington.
Transport links are constrained by town layout, precluding construction of major new cross-town access routes.
