This development will damage local beauty and heritage and does not respect the existing historical importance of this area of the Forest of Arden. It would destroy this landscape character bringing a large new town close to the settlement boundaries. Once lost, it can never be recovered.
The development on Green Belt land which is meant to protect open spaces, preserve wildlife habitats, and maintain natural landscapes would result in the loss of vital green space.
There are other suitable sites outside the Green Belt and I suggest that X2 is a better option than B1.
