Richborough support the proposed growth location SG16 ‘South of Wellesbourne Group’, as this identifies Wellesbourne as a settlement that could support additional growth. It is however requested that the proposed growth location be expanded to include additional areas to the south of Wellesbourne, including land south of Wellesbourne Road, to determine whether a greater level of development could be accommodated in this area. This approach aligns with other proposed growth locations where the SWLP have identified potential sites which have yet to be put forward through the Call for Sites.
