The proposed New Settlement will be located on the Green belt. The roads are already blocked, (not helped by frequent temporary traffic lights on the Birmingham Road).

Flooding is a serious issue on the proposed fields and housing would make this worse. The water would run off to the villages and the railway. The railway is a small branch line, not suitable for major use.

Mary Arden's farm is a grade I listed building and an important heritage asset. It would be badly affected by vibrations from additional traffic, pollution and potential flooding
