The land South of Tanworth is prime farming land which would be lost with the proposed development. The local roads are not equipped to handle such an increase in traffic. These roads are regularly used by pedestrians and cyclists with many coming through the area from the Solihull/South Birmingham area. The proposed development would increase traffic to make such use dangerous. There are limited facilities and shopping nearby and hence this would create significant traffic to neighbouring areas. The train service through Wood End would not support commuting and hence the development would place significant strain on local roads.
