Long Marston Airfield is a poor choice for a new settlement. It is rural brownfield. Priority is given within the SWLP for urban brownfield. However, main reason it is a poor choice is that it is unsustainable - no substantial transport network exists and surrounding rural settlements will bear the brunt of increases in traffic.
