The majority of this is agricultural land and classified green belt. The intent of green belt is to differentiate between towns, villages and cities. This proposed area of development would almost see Leek Wootton as part of Kenilworth. The local plan would seem to be flawed. Housing developments such as this do nothing to enhance the town and local facilities, ie doctors, hospitals, dentists and schools are already overstretched. I would question the need for development of further housing in Kenilworth as it will surely impact traffic congestion as most of this will necessarily be commuter based.
