Safe guarding land for infrastructure is essential given the scale of development proposed in the local plan. However, it is disappointing that the development of infrastructure seems to be left to the discretion of private developers who do not have a long term interest in the success of such projects. I would like to see more development of infrastructure prior to housing development particularly around the A46 which is notoriously dangerous and congested.
