The entire settlement sits in the green belt and on BMV land. It would absorb Bearley, Pathlow and Wilmcote into a single settlement. The scale of the development is out of proportion with existing settlements. Trains/railtracks are limited. The WM Rail Investment Strategy does not cover proposed settlement capacity increases, nor station facilities. The settlemetn will impact on historic Wilmote and Bearley heritage. Already Wilmcote is a rat run for traffic problems on the A46, the settlement will add to traffic pressure on A46, A3400. It sits in an area of high flood risk. Cycling facilities unlikely to be sufficient.
