A viable and deliverable route must be found for the construction of a new ring road around Stratford Upon Avon. This would help to relieve traffic on the Clopton bridge. Dozens of heavy vehicles use this bridge every day from the M40 to Meon Vale. This will only worsen with more development at site E1.
The greenway route from Meon Vale to Stratford should be safeguarded as a cycle way and designated a local wildlife site / corridor. It is a very well used route that locals really value.
