I strongly support the development of new settlements. Such developments are vital, as they can meet the majority of our housing needs without placing overwhelming pressure on our current infrastructure. New settlements are most effective when designed with a clear vision, including opportunities for employment and sustained investment. Specifically, Long Marston has already commenced, and it is crucial that this project is completed fully and properly—particularly by establishing robust and effective transport connections—to ensure its ultimate success and long-term sustainability.
